YAMAHA MT 15 HIGHLIGHTS
The YAMAHA MT 15 is essentially , the naked version of the YZF - R15. Where the R15 focuses more on track performance more than practicality , the MT 15 focuses more on practicality , thanks to it’s raised handlebar and a more conventional riding position. The MT 15 too , just like it’s fully faired sibling , comes loaded with all the modern bells and whistles , but it only gets single - channel ABS compared to the duel - channel unit from the R15.

EXTERIOR DETAILS
The YAMAHA MT-15 is a super agressive and hyper naked version of the track - focussed R15. Coming to the diamensions , the MT-15 is 2,020mm in length , 800mm in width and 1,070mm in height.

BS - VI COMPLIANT ENGINE
The already powerful naked YAMAHA MT-15 155cc is now future proof with its BS - VI compliant engine. Running the MT-15 cooled the 155cc LC 4V engine that gives you sample amount of power on tap.
The YAMAHA MT-15 is limited edition is powered by the same 155cc , single - cylinder , liquid - cooled SOHC engine with fuel injection and variable valve actuation ( VVA ). This engine is a capable of producing 19 bhp of power at 10,000 rpm and 14.7 Nm of torque at 8,500 rpm. In India , this same engine in BS6 from produces 18.4 bhp and 13.9 Nm of torque. Power is transmitted to the rear wheel via a 6 - speed gearbox with assist and slipper clutch.

HANDLING
The YAMAHA MT-15 comes fitted with a 100/80-17 M/C 52P section tyre at the front and the 140/70-17 M/C 66H section tyre at the rear. The bike is built around a deltabox frame while it rides on a telescopic forks suspension setup at the front and a swingarm suspension at the back.
